Happy Memorial Day! I hope everyone gets a chance to celebrate it with their loved ones and take it easy. I’ll be going to a small family cookout myself in a little bit (just like 5 of us), and enjoying the gorgeous weather Chicagoland actually has for a change.
Memorial Day has never been a holiday that has hit me much, as most of my family members that were in the military passed away when I was so young, and from unrelated reasons. I did work under a Vietnam vet for nearly a decade, so I got to hear some crazy stories from him on slow days in the office.
For those that it does have a heavy meaning for, I hope you can honor your loves ones and let the memories flourish. Everyone of them helped make this world a little bit better.
